I get skulls in Ansel from such DNG files.
No problem in Darktable. My DNGs are all generated in DxO based on Sony ARW files, so at least the original Bayer demand is fulfilled. These DNGs can be edited in DT without noticeable problems, so I have quite a number due to the very good noise reduction in PureRaw.
