I have raised this issue with Darktable upstream earlier, and there is no much enthusiasm about this. Then I found this project.
Would it be possible to add support for BE and 32-bit platforms? All major BSD systems support `ppc` presently, it is also supporting in some Linux distributions and on legacy macOS which is still used.
